All the hard work writing travel guides over the years, going to shotengai meetings, phoning onsen groups, visiting 地方観光 offices, and going to all the little off the beaten path places with my camera, a note pad, and my JLPT 2級 ボロボロ日本語… I could’ve been making haiku like that.
