Day 10 of the #mbapr challenge is train, which I suggested!
Here’s MARTA 184F at Doraville station in my hometown, Atlanta GA saying hi; I’m on it posting this. Trainspotting has been my hobby since I was a kid but if you follow me you’ll see mostly Japanese trains because I a the #tokyo #trainnerd.

Day 9 #mbapr:
I live in the Southern US, Atlanta GA. And there’s nothing more Southern than a crispy fried chicken dinner with black-eyed peas, greens and cornbread. (Now you know why we all weigh a lil' bit more down here too.)

Not as fancy as solar glasses but I still got to see the eclipse in my own way.

For the prevention of blindness, I guess I made a pinhole eclipse viewer box Just like I did when I was 13 to see today’s solar eclipse.

(It’s also day 8 of #mbapr)
Day 7 of the micro.blog photo challenge: well-being.
When I lived in Japan and Taiwan, I cycled pretty much everywhere, and it is responsible for my good health up to now. I plan on getting a good bike and getting back into it over the summer now that I’m back Stateside. #mbapr
These Kansas windmills are real powerhouses on a windy day.

And now since it’s midnight Eastern time, may as well do day 5 of the April Photoblogging Challenge. I always find beaches to be the most serene places on my travels.

So happy to participate in the micro.blog photoblogging challenge #mbapr
Day one: toy
A picture of a Woodstock plushie my daughter got from her big brother yesterday, her 11th birthday.

Did anyone else watch Halo season 2? It ended weirdly AF… Granted I’ve never played the games beyond the first XBox version and like 3 levels. Am I missing something?
UPDATE: I went and played a few speed-runs of Halo and Halo 2 to get a better understanding of the lore; I get it now. 👍 The hard part about narratives based on video games is the limited understanding and background that average people will have with the franchise.
There should never be major plot shifts without explanation and exposition (really in any film TBF). But with this genre, it’s at the expense of the superfans/stans and their hardline needs to follow cannon succinctly and precisely as they experienced the source material.
But since its a game, that kinda means everyone playing through gets a semi-unique experience in the first place!
It’s that time of year again! Boy-type still likes the sushi for his birthday meal so that’s what we did 🍣 (I enjoy his birthday as much as he does 😆)

Finally able to use the micro.blog iOS app’s share sheet to post crappy pictures again.

This one is the result of my youngest’s attempts at grabbing my phone and taking pictures of me napping on the sofa; I’m to quick for her!
Hmm 🤔
So is this the week to make a go at only using this spot and my blog for interactions in the fediverse…?
- can’t like or boost things from here in micro.blog. I can quote post though…
- I won’t see likes or boosts either. I can see them on my main blog though.

This place just opened and I’m obligated to “inspect” it. 🌮 🌯 Going to try and hit the new Chipotle that opened nearby this week
A new use for micro.blog:
Follow your other websites and fediverse accounts and you can make all the posts embeddable when you need to refer to something:

Is what’s happening in the screenshot from the desktop app on my side or micro.blog’s side? I don’t have any issues when using other micropub sites like Quill or Sparkles…
That’s a post from my main site above now embeded as a quote here. 😊
